Product name: Yuanhe
Ingredients: Wuren alcohol extract, (white peony, Yinchen) dry extract, calcium carbonate.
Properties: This product is a capsule, the content is off-white to light gray-brown powder; the taste is bitter.
Functions and indications: clearing away heat and promoting gallbladder, calming liver and nourishing blood, lowering serum alanine aminotransferase. Used to treat persistent and chronic hepatitis.
Specification: 0.45g per capsule, containing 10mg of Schisandrin B
Usage and dosage: Orally, 3 capsules at a time, 3 times a day, four weeks as a course of treatment. After the liver function is normal, take another two courses of treatment, the dosage can be reduced.
Adverse reactions: This product contains calcium carbonate, and the following adverse reactions have been found after inquiry. 1, belching, constipation. 2. Occasionally, milk-alkali syndrome may occur, manifested as hypercalcemia, alkalosis and renal insufficiency. (Caused by taking milk and calcium carbonate, or calcium carbonate alone) 3. Long-term overdose can cause increased gastric acid secretion and hypercalcemia.
