Main function Nourishes yin and clears heat, invigorates the kidney and nourishes the lung. Used for deficiency of both lungs and kidneys, cough due to consumptive fatigue, hot flashes and Guzheng, night sweats and nocturnal emission, soreness and weakness of waist and knees and other symptoms of yin deficiency. In tumor chemotherapy, it has protective effect on bone marrow, liver and kidney function.
