Functions and indications: Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, dredging collaterals and relieving pain. Used for the arthralgia syndrome of blood stasis blocking the collaterals. Symptoms are severe muscle and joint pain, mostly tingling, fixed position, refusal to press on the painful area, hard nodules or ecchymosis.
